The last show I attended this NYFW was Liu Yong’s collaboration with Rishikensh. Liu Yong widely popular in China and regarded as one of the top ten designers in China this show was greatly anticipated
For my second day of Fashion Week one of the shows I attended was Oxford Fashion Studio’s Show I for SS2020. It was a surprisingly brisk day for early September and show was held at Pier 59 Studios. The show featured eight rising designers. The show was filled to capacity and you could sense the excitement.
The third show I attended this Fashion Week was Elf Sack for the Nolcha Shows. A vibrant quirky brand in a similar vein as Wild Fox, only less sex and more playful. Hello Kitty meets grandma chic could aptly describe this color-saturated kaleidoscope of a collection. Illustrative patterns, cheeky cartoon characters, grungy plaids, lady-like florals and polkadots are all represented.

Fashion Week also starts this week in New York and I am going to be quite busy. In the meantime you can catch up with what I have been doing the last half of summer
