In todays Lookbook Friday we are looking at the Parisian brand Delphine Delafon. The brand was founded in 2011 as a handbag company. Originally know for her specialized bucket bag featuring engraved and numbered eyelets the company has expanded to include customized bags and Ready-to-Wear.
this line up embraces the romantic ethos of a free-spirited it girl
We are looking at the company’s first attempt at Ready-to-Wear with the pre-fall 2017. The brand’s only garment collection to date has a distinct seventies flair and a decidedly French feel. With it’s high-waisted wide legged trousers, electric pops of color and liberal use of crushed velvet it is safe to say this line up embraces the romantic ethos of a free-spirited it girl
I hope to visit the studio in Paris one day to create a bag of my own. If you want to learn more about Delphine Delafon head to website at Delphinedelafon.com

January 15, 2018Hey Allie, I heard about this brand last year in a girl’s blog post (can’t remember the name right now) but I like the idea that it is like Gucci but way more wearable, love how the brand uses color block and metal accents at least in this collection!

January 17, 2018Another fabulous designer that you feature here today. I really love the fresh take on the 70s style here and can truly visualize the Parisian vibes.
I love the leather looks, and the particular silohettes pictured here . they do remind me of how I used to dress long ago. But these looks have a contemporary feel that is impossible to deny and also impossible not to love. ❗️
❤️❤️❤️
