tory burch pre-fall 2017 for lookbook friday

Although it is hot and steamy here in New York, the reality is fall is right around the corner. And although I love the easy breezy clothes I can wear in the warmer weather I so look forward to the change of seasons and the fall focused fashion that ushers in this transitional time of the year. And Tory Burch’s most recent line up for pre-fall captures the energy of the season, and sense of renewal while still embracing the laid back chic of a lazy day at the beach.

From embroidered florals, to crisp white linen frocks, to a patch work tops and tunic cut maxis detailed with eastern inspired prints this collection has a swanky upscale hippie vibe. Think the jet-set hollywood so-cal crowd circa 1974, but with a decidedly twenty first century take with it’s out-of-the-box statement shoes and distressed fringed bottom jeans.

I love the edgy bohemain feel of the garments, with their luxurious sateens, fun patterns, like the elongated hexigon found on the two piece pajama inspired set to the show stopping head to toe gown in a golden sat.
