When Loverly approached me and asked me for my fashion advice I could not have been more excited. After working in the wedding industry for years I have kind of seen it all when it comes to bridal fashions. You would think designers would run out of ideas on what to do with white, but wedding gowns are more fashionable then ever, and today the options are limitless. Strapless dresses have been a huge trend for quite some time now and they still dominate the market, but thanks to Kate Middleton, the Twilight wedding, and Kim Kardashian we are seeing a bit of step away from this trend. And I for one love it!

Strapless will always be your go to choice for beachside nuptials, but those of you who choose to get married in the city, you will want something a bit more on the fashion forefront. Right? Jenny Packham is one of my favorite designers and her new line of wedding gowns for 2015 are perfect for an urban skyline wedding in a Great Gatsby kind of way. I just love this long sleeved lace Josephine gown. Romantic, dreamy and ethereal with just a hint of sex appeal you will be sure to stop the show in this number. And to add a bit more sexiness to the look consider the Florentina suede and lace booties from Kate Spade. Oh my, these will look oh so chic with what your are wearing under your dress as well. And for a look like this be sure to keep everything from hair and makeup to your nails and accessories soft and dreamy, in neutral tones and pale pastels. And imagine yourself in this lace infused gown, with the setting sun, your beau at your side and the skyline behind you. Can anyone say dream wedding? If you like what you see follow the links below, and if you love strapless this dress from Jenny Packham has that Great Gatsby vibe sans the sleeves. And let me know if you are getting married and what you would wear, and if you are already married, what look did you go with?

  4. I wish sites like this were around when I was getting married. I went with a pretty simple look when I got married. I was really lucky to find my dream wedding dress for under $300.

  12. This is a wonderful selection! Those Kate Spade shoes are gorgeous! I’m already married. My dress was similar to Belle’s dress from BATB, though it was a halter. It was fitted at the and flared out like a ball gown. There were tiny pearls clusters on the dress as well.

  17. Lovely mood board, Allie! So dreamy *_^ It’s odd that the first three Jenny Packham links that I clicked through didn’t yield any results. It said page not found, so I can’t view the dresses from them:))

Well, my little brother just walked down the aisle last two weeks and it’s such a beautiful occasion and time for all of us, family! Wedding is always a good idea!

Have an awesome weekend ahead, my friend!
