Tulle For The Holidays

tullefortheholidays

I love tulle. There is something so fun and festive about it. I know most people think of little girls or brides but tulle can be high fashion too. Just think of Carrie Bradshaw in Paris. A tulle skirt and a little cropped jacket? Oh La La! This tulle dress from the Etsy shop OUMA is super fun and at $350 it won’t break the bank. They also do custom work as well. So if you have a special event to go to, or are getting married then  pop by the shop, it is an affordable way to have a one of the kind dress.

This tulle skirt by Free People comes in three colors and will definitely add some drama to your look. And this Urban Renewal Tulle Slip Dress  by Urban Outfitters does make me think of a ballerina, but in fun edgy way. I would so love to wear this for New Years Eve. J Crew is currently having a sale and this tulle beauty is now half off! A little tulle dress and a pair of silver kitten heels is a perfect way to ring in the new year and look good doing it!  I pulled together a few more items below in my tulle inspired frenzy and this dress by Simone Rocha totally caught my eye. It is half off, and though still a splurge at $495, it is a sleek and sophisticated way to to do tulle. Don’t you think?

They look soooooooo romantic! I’ve been meaning to DIY one from a skirt I’ve got, but so far it’s still “in the making”

I am a sucker for a tulle skirt. Or really anything that would easily lend itself to pretending to be a princess.
