Happy Lookbook Friday everyone. Today we are looking at an emerging Parisian brand Koche. As my regular readers know one of my New Year’s resolution was to cover more up and coming designers in lookbook column. It is so exciting to see new brands break out and the embracement of emerging talent. And Koche is certainly one talent to watch.
While the street wear influence can’t be missed, and is the vibrant beating heart of the brand’s aesthetic with it’s bold prints and relaxed fits, there is also a streak of classic elegance flowing through out the collections. It is this symbiotic relationship of polarities that creates such are arresting duality of spirited glamour and edgy distinction.
you will find you will want to watch until the end, as each piece that winds it’s way through the aisles wets your appetite for the one behind it
Be sure to watch the video of the SS2018 collection which was held in a book store! How is that for guerrilla fashion. And despite the low tech environment you will find you will want to watch until the end, as each piece that winds it’s way through the aisles wets your appetite for the one behind it. From the two toned tweed coats to the art print track suits, this lineup is smart, innovative and impeccably designed.
PS: I posted the Fall/Winter runway show as the SS2018 show on Vimeo suddenly came up “private” It was there one minute and gone the next. Can’t be bothered figuring it out, so here is the Fall/Winter 2017 show. Just as fun!

I know! The hot magenta dress is fun!
I love that you’re covering more emerging talents in design. The book store setting for the presentation is a great contrast for the bold spirit of this collection.
Yes so many people cover the bigger brands nice to show some love to the upper and comers
Very artistic and interesting. I do think the whole collection is unique but not one that I can relate to.

Yes it is so chic
I love the colour, look of the fabric and the design of the dress in the third photo as well as the complimentary contrast provided by the beautiful green colour of the model’s hair. I also love the dresses in the 5th and seventh photos and the pretty blouse in the sixth photo. The bookstore was an interesting venue for the runway show – I like the video!

It is nice to see a collection that is so out of the box but also sumptuous
I am loving these designs. They feel like a strange (but awesome) mix of tomboy and femininity. Thanks for the heads up on this up and comer!
