Ladies in Lace and an Evening With Lucky Magazine at Topshop in NYC

But alas Renta (of PurseFixation.com) and I were not on a shopping spree but were actually at Top Shop for an event sponsored by Lucky Magazine. Though of course I did not walk out empty handed stay tuned for a post on that! But on this lovely evening in NYC, Eva Chen, editor-in-chief of Lucky magazine hosted a fashion panel along with stylist Sophia Pera, model and fashion blogger Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge and former market editor turned baker Amirah Kassem of Flour Shop.

Dusty Lavender-Mauve, The Must Have Nail Color of the Moment

Needless to say the event was a flutter of well heeled fashionistas, and there was one young women in attendance who was wearing the loveliest shade of a dusty lavender nail polish which some describe as mauve.

French Connection, a Non Body Con Look and a Night Out in Soho

[dropcap custom_class="normal"]S[/dropcap]pring has arrived in a big way this weekend, in fact it felt more like summer. With temperatures above normal after two months of temperatures being below normal it was a bit of shock, but in a good way. Friday started out cold and rainy and ended warm and sunny with temperatures in the low seventies, it was a perfect evening to step out for dinner and drinks with some fellow bloggers.

New Beauty Magazine and an Experiential Night of Beauty in New York City

[dropcap custom_class="normal"]W[/dropcap] ho doesn’t love a night filled with beauty, wine and swag. Well last Thursday evening I was enjoying all of these benefits and then some at New Beauty Magazine’s Experiential Night of Beauty in celebration of their ten year anniversary. I attended the event with fellow blogger Renata of Purse Fixation who looked lovely in her pale pink bow blouse which was a nice contrast to my black H to T ensemble. I wore a black Alice and Olivia dress with a fitted black blazer from H&M, yes it is officially spring but with 35 degree temperatures and rain, I dressed accordingly.

MAC Mineralize Concealer and a Journey of Trial and Error and New Discoveries
