Dusty Lavender-Mauve, The Must Have Nail Color of the Moment

ast Tuesday evening I attended an event at Top Shop for Lucky Magazine, Eva Chen was in attendance along with Stylist Sophia Pera, Blogger and model Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge and It girl Amirah Kassem of Flour Shop. Needless to say the event was a flutter of well heeled fashionistas, and there was one young women in attendance who was wearing the loveliest shade of a dusty lavender nail polish which some describe as mauve. I always thought of mauve as more of a burgundy color but it can be any color between lavender and periwinkle to a more wine toned shade. Although I think true mauve would be described as a dusty lavender. I approached her and asked what color and brand she was wearing. She said the color was mauve, but could not recall the name of the brand. She stated it was an inexpensive brand that they had at her local salon. Unfortunately this did not help me in my quest so I took to the internet and viola, I found what I was looking for! This color called “Prince” by Ten Over Ten is the exact shade she was wearing and is described as a “pale lilac”, this is so going to be on my must have list. I am going to head over to Sephora this week and can only hope it is in stock—fingers crossed. But really any of these shades will have me swooning for a mani. What about you?
