PARIS VLOG FASHION WEEK SS2019 JOIN ME IN THE CITY OF LIGHTS

Paris is always a good idea, and the way things are going in this country moving there it seems like a even better idea. But for the time being visiting Paris will have to suffice. So join me in Paris for my Parisian hauls, a night boat ride on the Seine, shooting the Rick Owens show, to highest hills of the city I packed it all in a short eight days.

I also speak a bit about the Fashion Week blogger/vlogger fatigue that seems to be more prevalent the last few seasons. Aimee of Song of Style mentioned in one of her videos how she felt that a show she attended was so beautiful she was going to cry. I felt like this at Rick Owens; seeing all the hard work and dedication coming to fruition. And the his unique expression of fashion.

I maintain a blog and a You Tube channel while also holding down a full-time job, all with no Instagram husband–but what I do have is passion

But to me you go to Fashion Week because of a deep love and passion for it, if you don’t have this in your core and are just attending to get your picture taken, maybe then it is best not to attend. I maintain a blog and a You Tube channel all with no Instagram husband–but what I do have is passion. And to me it is the love for the artistry of fashion that should motivate you to push through the pain.

This trip by far was the most stressful from a crappy photo shoot, to an immature difficult AIR BNB host, to difficult flights and fighting a bad cold, but through it all I still loved my time spent in the city of lights.

  3. With the way this country is going right now, I really wish I could just pack it up and move to Paris. Fab video! We did the boat ride on the Seine in the early evening the last time we were in Paris and it was one of my favorite things. The Rick Owens show was just beautifully presented. It must’ve been even more marvelous in person.

  4. Fashion week is so exhausting. I took a 42 hour trip into Paris and was already tired when I arrived… biggest bags of my life lol. It’s an emotional roller coaster to see and absorb all that creativity, but totally worth it. 🙂
    Have a great week!

  5. That’s awesome and really inspiring that you maintain a blog and Youtube channel with a full-time job. That’s not easy and you’re doing it very well! I’m excited to watch your vlog as I always love seeing how it is to attend fashion week.

  7. Passion is “indeed” needed in order for us to achieve our dreams. It’s nice seeing Paris up close and personal through your lens. Beautiful City, beautiful Video.

  8. I guess because you have so much passion for what you do
and fashion itself, all the setbacks and fatigue are all worth it.
    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  9. Wow, it’s great to see this city through your eyes, So nice vlog. I would definitely love to visit Paris one day.

  10. I’ve been a long-time supporter of Rick Owens, I just love his aesthetic. This is such a lovely video. I’ve still not been to PFW yet. Been a while since I’ve been to France. I’m sure you would love it there, if you move there, especially if you have family there, which makes the transition easier.

It’s sad you got sick (I’ve been sick in Paris too and it was not easy ) but I’m glad, that overall, you enjoyed your trip and spent some time with your family too. I definitely have to take night boat tour , while in Paris, it looked fantastic. Loved your hair color, by the way, it suits you perfectly. xx
