MONCLER SPRING-SUMMER 2018 FOR LOOKBOOK FRIDAY

Head to toe denim also gives the lineup a very contemporary feel and helps to keep the overall aesthetic young and up to date

Today we are looking at Moncler’s Spring Summer lineup for 2018. Though this collection has more of a resort feel to it with it’s mixed bag of warm weather looks and cool weather pieces. It fully embraces the leisure wear trend so prominent in the fashion industry right now. Added to this are nautical inspired garments with a traditional red, white, and blue palette in classic cuts,  such as the stripped pull over and white wide leg trousers. The elastic tricolor belts give the looks a seventies vibe and the flowered patterned bombers add a modern element. Head to toe denim also gives the lineup a very contemporary feel and helps to keep the overall aesthetic young and up to date. The Birkenstock influenced footwear and artist embellished garments take this collection to the next level. With attention to detail like this, Moncler will certainly be a contender for the foreseeable future.

  1. Oh such a clean collection – with some awesome features! Especially the rain coats are awesome. And I am very into those all denim looks too!
Thanks for sharing the lookbook dear <3

    1. Yes the denim is so fun!

  2. Yes I would’ve thought this was a resort collection if you hadn’t mentioned it was for summer. The outerwear is totally outstanding especially all the floral print pieces all of which have caught my eye.

  3. I am not familiar with this brand so thank you for the introduction, Allie!

  4. I love all the sheer outfit pieces, florals, and complementary colour combinations of red, yellow, black, ivory, tan, white and blue in this collection. Among my favourite looks and outfit pieces shown in this collection are: The outfit in the first photo with the red jacket; the third outfit featuring the red-trimmed boatneck striped top with the sheer skirt; the floral print jacket and sheer black blouse in the fifth outfit; the pleated sheer black skirt in the ninth outfit; the yellow raincoat and top styled with the black shorts in the eleventh outfit; the floral jacket, knit pink top and sheer skirt of the eighteenth outfit, and; the blue denim outfit with the black ruffle trim on the light blue denim jacket in the last photo.
    It’s a lovely collection.

    1. So glad you like it! Wouldn’t it be grand if we all won the lotto and could buy the whole collection! ; )

  5. I love when designers pay attention to detail and make you examine a piece, not allowing you to take your eyes from it.
I really like the floral bomber jackets and this yellow monochromatic look.
Hope you’re having a great day Allie!
