Wow we are at the end of the first week of August and summer is just about over. And New York Fashion Week is a little more then a month away. Though there are still some some beach days to be had. But I cannot lie I am looking forward to wearing fall clothes.
Admittedly not ready for tights and boots quite yet. Early fall is that in-between time when we can dress less season specific. Which can be liberating so I have always been a big fan of Pre-fall collections. Today we are looking a Marni’s Pre-fall collection for 2019.
We all know that tie-die has been trending this season and the mind-bending elements of the psychedelic age have also been cropping up on the runways. Bright colors, brash patterns and paisley prints are having a moment as well. And Marni embraces this aesthetic with an understated elegance and a youthful quirky appeal.
Hemlines are long, and silhouettes are lose and flowing, with intermittent deconstructed components. Demure two piece sets in neutral tones like the camel colored knit ensemble and a paisley suit dress anchors the collection while edgier pieces like a deconstructed jumpsuit and a patchwork blouse and color blocked skirt infuse the collection with a vibrant enthusiasm. Fun, quaint, spirited, and with just the right amount of it-girl attitude the lineup for Pre-fall 2019 is crowd pleaser to be sure.
