Catherine May Taylor Shoot With Model Lindsey Michelle

For anyone who follows me on Instagram they know that last weekend I had the pleasure of helping out on a super fun Valentines Day inspired photo shoot. I was lending a helping hand to Catherine May Taylor, the lovely photographer who shot the pictures of me in DUMBO as well as the shoot I did for Jordan Taylor.  We had a small but impressive team, and the shoot went amazingly well. We worked with model Lindsey Michelle, who recently won the American Eagle “Live Your Life” competition. She won with the most votes, and already had quite a following on YouTube for her at home makeup tutorials. Lindsey has been on both sides of the chair, as a model and as a makeup artist. She is currently attending collage, and is doing a double major in psychology and journalism, with a minor in film.  Lindsey was a pleasure to work with on set and modeling seems to come naturally to her. And her talents don’t stop with modeling and makeup, she is also quite the talented little songstress. Between shots Lindsey entertained the crew, breaking out in to song and playing the guitar. A model who can sing? Yup! Lindsey has a beautiful voice, and if music we her chosen career path I am sure she would excel at that too. Lindsey is a fire cracker for sure, and I am sure we will be seeing more of her in the future. She is currently signed to MMG New York.

For this look Lindsey is wearing the Duchess Satin Bow Back Prom Dress from Top Shop and gold head band from Urban Outfitters. Well, this may be a “prom” dress but throw on a cropped moto jacket and a pair of black ankle booties and you have instant down town chic. Right? And we all know Top Shop is the epitome of down town chic. And doesn’t this cupcake look scrumptious? It is from Crumbs Bake Shop so I know it is…and this love sparkler from Tops Malibu  is just adorable, how cute and clever, wouldn’t it make a great wedding cake topper? And if you are having a party this Valentines Day some heart confetti could be just the thing, we used this great confetti from the Etsy shop, Syringa Paper Co.  But if you are doing something more intimate and still need a card for your signifiant other, head on over to Greenwich Letterpress. Recently voted the best gift shop in NYC by the Village Voice, they have certainly earned that title, and have some of the most original cards around.
