The Main show ended with Rohitava Banerjee and it was quite the stunning collection. Rohitava Banerjee made his debut with Nolcha last season and he made quite the impression even being called the next Alexander McQueen. Only 19 years old, this designer is sure to have a long and fabulous career ahead of him. With his sumptuous fabrics, rich jewel tone palette, exqcuistie embroidery and his striking silhouettes we are sure to see one of his creations on red carpet some time in the not too distant future. From regal cocktail dresses to breathtaking gowns this collection is a remarkably decadent embracement of the art of the garment.

Wow the designer is only 19?!! How impressive that he’s already showing at NYFW. I can also see some of these looks gracing the red carpets of events.

What a splendid collection from the young designer — fully of unique pieces that are so artful as well. It’s not for me personally, but I do appreciate the avant-garde, yet edgy aesthetic to these pieces.
