FINAL CUT PRO TUTORIAL WITH JENN IM AN INSPIRATIONAL LESSON

I took a bit of a break from video over the winter and for most of the summer. I had less then stellar experience with you You Tube’s AD Words service for video that I got completed disgusted and lost interest. But I still love the art of shooting and editing video so I have returned to it after a much needed break.

If you are thinking of trying your hand at vlogging and video it must may inspire you as it did me

This weekend I edited a video I shot a few weeks ago, I hope to post it next week. I needed a bit of a brush up on FCP so I headed to Jenn Im’s channel to rewatch her video on how she edits in Final Cut Pro. It is not super in depth on the technical side of things but it has great tips for work flow and how to edit aesthetically. I personally found it very inspirational and it prompted to finally try my hand at Final Cut Pro.

It is not super long and is engaging and fun to watch. I hope you find it helpful. If you are thinking of trying your hand at vlogging and video it just may inspire you as it did me.

  2. I know that video/vlogging is the next frontier but somehow I just can’t seem to get into it. It’s nice to know there are good resources like this for tips out there if I ever do though. You always do a great job with your videos Allie!

  3. This was such a helpful video about editing the vlog. I’ve been thinking of starting Youtube chanel for a long time but never found courage to do it. Happy Monday Allie. xx

  4. I really suck at editing photos. I literally only know how to increase/decrease brightness, contrast and eliminate some scars and spots on my legs (i literally run into everything…. and personally don’t care about the scars because I’m athletic and have cuts everywhere but i don’t like the distraction in photos lol). Love the tutorial and tips! Your photos are so nice!

  5. Thanks for sharing this Allie! My daughter took a video of me at a recent birthday party and I’m thinking of sharing it in the blog and Instagram. But I have no earthly idea how to edit the length and improve the lighting. So I think I will check this out. I hope you are well. Ugh this weather!

  10. This was helpful. I know a lot of people are crossing into more videos but I am not a video person. I hate how my voice sounds, but I love the results of how videos are edited by others… Perhaps, one day. I’ve not used Final Cut Pro since design school.

  11. This is such a great video! I love learning more about editing tools like Final Cut Pro! Thanks for sharing!
