I have always been a bit of a rebel at heart. I was never quite a mainstream girl and I never tried out for the cheerleading team. And I am going to admit to a secret—The Royals is a guilty pleasure of mine. And my favorite character of course is the princess. I Love her snarky, I can see through your bullshit attitude and her edgy to die for wardrobe. Plus she is gorgeous, I wouldn’t mind looking like her! So a few weeks ago when I attended an event a Top Shop hosted by Lucky Magazine and I saw this shaggy pull over I just had to try it on. Happily for me it fit like a glove and it was on sale for $40.00! It looks much more expensive then it is, and I like that I can style it for a more girly look like I did here, or I could go for a more rock-n-roll look and wear it with some leather leggings or a leather skirt and some knee high boots. For this look I paired the sweater with this pleated skirt I picked up at Zara last spring, and these ankle boots from Donald J. Pliner which were gifted to me at the first Lucky FABB conference I attended. And the necklace was gifted to me at the second Lucky conference I attended. The fringe bag I picked up at Free People last spring as well, and I wrote about this uber chic find in this post. Ssshh it is not real leather and was only $78, but it looks like real leather right? I adore this vegan leather bag and the fringe trend so you will probably see it in a repeat performance or two. Do you like the fringe trend? And would you wear a sweater like this, or is this too edgy for you? I personally think everyone should own a piece that makes them feel like rock-n-roll princess—a piece that tells the world look at me, I want to get notice, I look great and I know it!

What a fantastic statement piece and a great buy for $40! This is not a style I could pull off but it looks fabulous on you! I watched about 10 minutes of The Royals when there was nothing else on the other week and couldn’t really get into it.

Bold & Eco Décor
First of all, yay to more personal fashion post on yourself! That shaggy top would have been something that made me run screaming the opposite way but now that I see it on you, it’s such a gorgeous piece to have in the wardrobe. I would definitely wear it with a leather pants/leggings/jeggings (so many terms so little time but they all looks the same to me in reality, ha!) and I can definitely see the edgier side of you especially paired with boots.
ps: Need advise, I recently saw a Ralph by Ralph Lauren striped tote going for a really decent price. It was roughly CAD200 but I don’t think any Ralph Lauren product would ever retail that cheap? Is it a lower end range of the brand?
