It is officially spring and that has me thinking about easy breezy looks and light blazers I can throw on with a comfy tee and some boyfriend jeans or capri trousers. And Smythe known for their well cut blazers takes it up a notch for Spring 2016. With plenty of stop in your tracks patterns the brand is not afraid to make some waves; from gingham to pin stripes to an aztec like print, the blazers in this collection are the true center pieces around which the rest of your look will be built. Along with this you will find more traditional blazers in the more expected colors of red, white and black and they span the gamut from long lose looks to more fitted formal cuts. There are also relaxed fit coats cut on an asymmetrical bias, flared trousers, modified track pants, a cargo inspired dress, satin high low tops, suede relax fit pencil skirts and an over-sized spring trench with minimalist details. Smythe’s collection  for Spring 2016 strikes a unique balance between the formal and the casual and combines both aesthetics in to one sophisticated effortless endeavor. And it seems they are catching on with the in crowd, as Gigi Hadid was recently spotted in a Smythe blazer. Based out of Canada, I think we will be hearing much more from this up and coming, hotly sought after brand.
