MY SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOT IN PARIS AND THE FINAL REVEAL

Well here are the photos from my so called professional photo shoot in Paris. The photographer sent me roughy 6o plus photos and I could only use six. And even these six photos required heavy retouching and color correcting. Though there was nothing I could do about the harsh shadows on my face, no amount of retouching can correct this.

And today we have the last and third set of shows presenting at the Oxford Studio Fashion Studio shows for Spring/Summer 2019. I enjoyed attending the shows and being able to see the work of up and coming designers. It is a showcase where inclusion is the heart of the events. From transgender, to plus-size to art inspired pieces and showcasing designers from around the globe the shows presented were anything but vanilla.

VALENTINO PRE-FALL 2018 FOR LOOKBOOK FRIDAY

The 80’s have been having a moment for a few seasons now in the fashion industry, but Valentino’s whole hearted embracement of this over the top era has us longing for a by gone time. SONIA RYKIEL RESORT 2018 FOR LOOKBOOK FRIDAY

Today we are looking at Sonia Rykiel’s resort collection for 2018. Resort collections always throw me a bit. With the changing landscape of the fashion industry and how content is delivered I wonder if there will continue to be a resort season. Perhaps, if YouTube is any judge of the jet setting life style of the popular influencers. I am a big fan of the Sonia Rykiel aesthetic.

MONCLER SPRING-SUMMER 2018 FOR LOOKBOOK FRIDAY

Today we are looking at Moncler’s Spring Summer lineup for 2018. Though this collection has more of a resort feel to it with it’s mixed bag of warm weather looks and cool weather pieces. It fully embraces the leisure wear trend so prominent in the fashion industry right now. Added to this are nautical inspired garments with a traditional red, white, and blue palette in classic cuts,  such as the stripped pull over and white wide leg trousers.
