July is just about over and that means one more month of summer and we will be headed towards fall weather. But it is still hot, and quite so here in the Big Apple, so today we are looking at the summer collection for the Parisian upstart label ba&sh. With a decidedly effortless French girl esthetic this brand is the more casual urban downtown answer to the more high end famous houses like Dior, Chanel and Givenchy.
With a too cool for school slouchy vibe and a boho mind set the pieces in this collection lend an air of sophisticated ease with just enough I don’t care grace
The looks in this lineup are youthful, spirited and super casual. With a too cool for school slouchy vibe and a boho mind set the pieces in this collection lend an air of sophisticated ease with just enough I don’t care grace. Floral peasant maxis, leather minis and knee length wrap skirts play nicely offering an array of hemlines while, flouncy jumpsuits in understate patterns balance out more minimalist pieces like the pull over hoodies and bell sleeved tops and flared trousers. Denim makes an appearance in a seventies inspired coverall, and a white and navy pin striped pants suit threatens to steal the show.
I will have to add this label to my must visit list next time I get to Paris, and what a wonderful excuse to go!
