The second show to walk for the China Moment collective was Syu Syu Han. With it’s approachable gothic aesthetic and what I liked to call it’s minimalist bondage detailing, this collection is a bold yet disciplined expression of the female form. With it’s push and pull contrasts of sleek artful draping and austere bodice pieces and the simple black and white palette the effect is subtly intrusive. Not for the demure or the shy, but for those that dare to embrace the edge of fashion and walk that edge proudly.

September 29, 2016You know what standout to me the most about this show? Yes, black is the dominating colour but the one that really stood out to me is the fact the models are not skinny but most are looking very healthy and fit. I love that!

October 3, 2016well done Allie, These are great photos , you really captured the designer’s essence. I love the term approachable goth! The suspender dress with the head to toe sleeves is a show stopper! I also like the prior post, the designer reminds me of Mary Katrantzou, with the extraordinary prints!
Enjoy!
