all is here in all it’s glory—the air is crisp, the sky is a brilliant blue, the leaves have started to change and it is officially sweater weather. As we know knits are big for fall this year, so I have the perfect excuse to stock up on this classic staple. Plus who does’t love to shop for sweaters in the fall— I think it brings back memories of back to school shopping and the arrival of the season that to many represents change and it is the start of the busiest time of the year for holidays. Really one can never have too many sweaters. And they may be a classic, but that does’t mean they have to look like a classic. This sweater from Philosophy with its long fit, wide cut collar and studded detail is a gorgeous and fashion forward way to keep warm this fall. Pair it with some boyfriend jeans and black booties or a pair of skinnies and suede knee-high boots and an over-sized boho bag. I purchased this sweater at a discount boutique called Foxes and I must say it was quite the score and it is also the same place I picked up my first crop top which I wrote about in this post. Though I recently discovered there is a Philosophy store a few blocks from my office. This could definitely be dangerous for my wallet. If you are unfamiliar with Philosophy, it is the younger more affordable line from Alberta Ferretti. The clothes are expectedly swoon worthy, and are not cheap, but oh so gorgeous.

That is a gorgeous sweater and it looks like it could be a very versatile piece in your closet for years to come. I just realize that I was by Foxes when I visited the Whitney a few weeks back and I totally forgot to stop in.

That sweater is divine. Looks so cozy too, what a great score. Sweater weather is my favorite for sure, I love fall in nyc so much.

Been dying to go to that killer heels exhibit, I actually have a double date plan to go some time this month. Would love to go that thing on dec 6 too. Let’s track closer to the date and lock it down.

Beautiful sweater. I’m actually looking forward to wearing warm sweaters too. I’ve been in the hunt for a nice vintage white one. Maybe I’ll come across it! 🙂

Wait, this is the perfect knit!! Love your styling suggestions, keeps me excited for the colder weather that is coming. And about St. Ives- I really like the moisturizer! I find it super hydrating which is really nice especially during this season. Also it’s so cheap, so if you try it and don’t like it, it’s not much of a loss 🙂

Such an interesting piece of sweater, I usually don’t quite fancy studded items but this one just seems quirky and interestingly works! What a good buy, most definitely looking really comfy, will we have the pleasure of spotting a picture of you wearing this any time soon? haha

I love sweater and it is so versatile as I am always almost afraid of the cold and chill *_^

Have a great weekend, my friend. Enjoy the fall there, on behalf of me here! haha

    Cheers,
    Jeann
