Fall is here in all it’s glory—the air is crisp, the sky is a brilliant blue, the leaves have started to change and it is officially sweater weather. As we know knits are big for fall this year, so I have the perfect excuse to stock up on this classic staple. Plus who does’t love to shop for sweaters in the fall— I think it brings back memories of back to school shopping and the arrival of the season that to many represents change and it is the start of the busiest time of the year for holidays. Really one can never have too many sweaters. And they may be a classic, but that does’t mean they have to look like a classic. This sweater from Philosophy with its long fit, wide cut collar and studded detail is a gorgeous and fashion forward way to keep warm this fall. Pair it with some boyfriend jeans and black booties or a pair of skinnies and suede knee-high boots and an over-sized boho bag. I purchased this sweater at a discount boutique called Foxes and I must say it was quite the score and it is also the same place I picked up my first crop top which I wrote about in this post. Though I recently discovered there is a Philosophy store a few blocks from my office. This could definitely be dangerous for my wallet. If you are unfamiliar with Philosophy, it is the younger more affordable line from Alberta Ferretti. The clothes are expectedly swoon worthy, and are not cheap, but oh so gorgeous.
