Anumber of weeks ago in this post I wrote about how to style a white shirt. And today I am showing you how I style my white shirt. I picked up this shirt a few weeks ago at the Zara in Soho. This shirt is very comfortable and perfect for the hot weather. It is light and airy and the long relaxed fit means it won’t be too clingy in the more warm humid days of summer. It retailed for $35.00 and has sold out, but they now have a shorter version for $29.90 I paired it with these skinny jeans that I bought at Urban Outfitters a number of years ago. They are part spandex and I think this has helped them maintain their shape over the years. And to make this look uber fashion forward I had to add this black brim hat from Forever 21. It is ridiculously affordable at $17.00 and is such an easy way to pull a look together. The boots from Crown Vintage are $69.99 and I wrote about them in this post when I originally purchased them this past winter. A pair of boots like these are a must have any self respecting fashionista. They can be worn all year long, with or without tights and you can even wear them with shorts. And of course they can be worn with tucked in jeans or cuffed jeans like I am doing here. A mid sized chunky heel is also great for walking around the city. Finally I grabbed my Dooney and Burke Florentine bag before heading out, I love the tassel details and the easy to mange shape. Plus it is red inside so it makes finding things in your bag super easy. Really this is one of the best features I have found in a bag. I shot these photos after work with a former coworker before we headed to a local eatery for dinner and drinks. Just one of the many perks of living in New York and working in Soho!
