A few weeks ago I headed out for day of shopping, lunch and strolling with a good friend of mine and we head to the town of Huntington which is located on the north shore of Long Island. Huntington is a beautiful town with a wonderful downtown shopping district. And I must say it is pretty hard not to part with one’s money walking along this shopping avenue,  and you will have to stay tuned for a post on this fun and chic shopping district. But in todays post I am going to share with you some images of the park we visited after lunch. I just couldn’t resist snapping a picture against this textured wall. How cool is this? I am wearing a shirt by Authentic American Heritage and the jeans are from Levis. You may not be able to tell, but they are pink, white and gray tie-dye. The cut is the 421 which has now been replaced with the 524. And the bag is actually my friend’s, I thought it would look so cool against this backdrop. I thought the boho hippy vibe fit right in with the textured art wall. The bag is from Free People and is called the Canyon Dream Crossbody. Wouldn’t this be perfect for Coachella?
The park is also in Huntington and is just a quick stroll from all the downtown shopping and eateries. So for my New York readers if you are ever in the need to take break from the big city but don’t want to rough it, consider a day in this charming, upscale, and picturesque town. Well I hope you enjoyed this romp, and stay tuned for a post on the downtown shopping district
