Well Fashion Week has officially come and gone. I was out and about for three days and did a lot of street style interviews, as well as attending a number of shows. This look I wore on Day One of NYFW . Both leopard print and zebra print are still trending hard so I decided to mix the two for a wild look to kick off Fashion Week .
I added a balaclava, which, can we talk about them for moment? Balaclavas are THE chic go to accessory this season. I saw them everywhere in so many shades and styles. Seriously I think this one trend that will be around for a while.
This balaclava is not not new, I have had for quite a while actually, but it was the perfect solution for a very cold winter day in New York City. This photo was snapped after the Flying Solo show and was taken my by photog friend Vlad. So fun to have photog friends around to snap your photo, does not get any better than that!

I love both the coat and the boots – and I wouldn’t have thought about pairing them but you’ve made it work wonderfully.
You taught me a new vocabulary word, ‘balaclava.’ I’ve seen them but didn’t know there was a term for them. You look so nice and warm in that coat, but I want to think about summer, not next winter! Have a sweet weekend! XO

I also love the outfit. The long leopard coat is stunning, and it looks great paired with zebra boots. Nothing beats a good mix of prints. There’s always something fresh about it. Lovely accessories as well. I must admit that I have never worn a balaclava. It doesn’t get cold enough for it here. Your sunnies are very cool, too.
