Paris Fashion week was quite busy for me this season, I had shows every day but one and when I was not covering shows I was shooting street style. Of course I wanted to look my very best and admit I was a bit hurried when planning out my outfits. I always think I have time and then one day usually the last week of August I realize Fashion Month is right around the corner and I have not thought about what I am going to wear.
Seriously I need to organize this a bit better. In fact an influencer I met named Elaine who is the person that took the photos of me in the Loft plaid blazer, told me she brought fifty four outfits with her for traveling to twenty four cities in Europe and took only one suitcase. She explained how she had everything planned out and written down, and had separate bags for each look. I told her she should make a You Tube video on this, that is some serious dedication to ones personal style. Me? I just sort of wing it.
I hope to better of job of this next season, wish me luck. In the mean time I am sharing with you two looks from Paris Fashion Week, both are a combination of shopping my closet and pre-loved pieces, nothing is brand new with the acceptation of the accessories.
The barrettes I picked up in Paris at Zara where I also got a mini pale pink backpack for my cameras. And the sunnies I got in New York at Buffalo Exchange. The bag of course is from Pinko and I got it last season. The striped top is pre-loved and is Alice & Olivia, and the trousers are from Max Studio, while the tulle dress is from Forever 21. The scarf is from Loft as is the plaid Blazer and the sneakers are Michael Kors. The sequined bomber which I love, is from the Parisian brand Les Benjamins a luxury streetwear brand from Istanbul and is also pre-loved. I picked it up at Chercheminippi my favorite second hand shop in Paris. So there you have it, two sustainable and affordable looks straight from the streets of Paris.
