Last week I wrote about the black suede lace up shoes I picked up at Zara in this post, and here I am sporting these gorgeous kicks. As I said in last weeks post these shoes are super comfortable and easy to walk around in for a relatively long time. I wore them to NYFW to a number of shows, and here I wore them to go out to dinner with a couple of fellow bloggers
Zara Suede Booties Just in Time for NYFW
Yes it is finally here, the start of NYFW and I will be attending a number of shows. And to that end of course it was the perfect excuse to wear something new. So last week on my lunch break off I went to do a bit of shopping in Soho where the office I work in is conveniently located. As I picked up a new top the week before and I thought a new pair of shoes could do the trick. I stopped in to ALDO first and tried on a pair of flats—they were a studded two tone number which is a knock off of the famous Valentino shoes.
How I Style a Long White Shirt for the Summer
[dropcap custom_class="normal"]A[/dropcap] number of weeks ago in this post I wrote about how to style a white shirt. And today I am showing how I styled my white shirt. I picked up this shirt a few weeks ago at the Zara in Soho. This shirt is super comfortable and perfect for the hot weather. It is light and airy and the long relaxed fit means it won’t be too clingy in the more warm humid days of summer. I
A Zara Bag, a Pair of Aldo Booties and a Lovely Day at the Shore
[dropcap custom_class="normal"]L[/dropcap] ast week I wrote about this lovely pink suede bag that I picked up at the Zara store in Soho. Well here it is in action, I love this bag for spring and summer. I can pair it with a pair of jeans and a cropped pleather jacket like I did here, or I could pair it with a dress and heels. This bag looks super luxe but is super affordable at $120. On this day my friend and I headed to a town
A Dusty Pink Satchel From Zara and a Lovely Way to Say Hello to Summer
[dropcap custom_class="normal"]W[/dropcap] hat is a girl to do when the seasons change? Why buy a new bag of course! And when I saw this pink suede satchel at Zara my heart skipped a beat. I assumed that it would be out of my price range but I was happy to discover it was only $119, not a bad price for genuine suede. The dusty blush color and texture of the suede makes this a stand out stunner for sure.
A Top Shop Shaggy Rock-n-Roll Sweater and a Vegan Fringe Bag
[dropcap custom_class="normal"]I[/dropcap] have always been a bit of a rebel at heart. I was never quite a mainstream girl and I never tried out for the cheerleading team. And I am going to admit to a secret—The Royals is a guiltily pleasure of mine. And my favorite character of course is the princess. I Love her snarky, I can see through your bullshit attitude and her edgy to die for wardrobe. Plus she is gorgeous, I wouldn’t mind looking like her! So a few weeks ago when I attended an event
A White Button Down Shirt — a Reinvented Must Have Staple with Limitless Options
[dropcap custom_class="normal"]I[/dropcap] t use to be that a white button down shirt was associated with stuffy, straight laced office attire and unimaginative drones who thought fashion was a four letter word. Well those days are gone in a big way, and the white button down has been reinvented into a fashion staple must have. There are many ways to style a white button down shirt—really the sky is the limit,
Spring Coats and a Girl Who Can’t Make Up Her Mind, What Do You Look For in a Spring Coat?
[dropcap custom_class="normal"]S[/dropcap]pring is finally here in NY and I am so ready to do a little spring shopping. I feel like after the major spring cleaning that I did a few weeks ago I should reward myself with a little spring shopping. I got a fairly nice tax return and even had a dream I went out shopping and spent $500…well I will not be doing that, but I will be purchasing a spring coat. As I have spoken about before on the blog I struggle with coats—it seems they never quite fit right, t
A Crop Top, A Pleated Skirt, ALLIE NYC, and NYFW
[dropcap custom_class="normal"] I [/dropcap] have been lusting for a pleated midi skirt for quite some town now and I finally acquired one. I purchased this peach hued beauty from Zara and what was even better I got it on sale for $49.99. I ordered it online and picked it up in the store. The day I picked it up there was a huge summer sale going on and the lines were mind-glowingly long
