From the ground breaking non gender specific African American owned Telfar opening fashion week to the forty two designer Flying Solo Collective I felt like I was running around non stop. Oxford Fashion Studio Show I SS2020
For my second day of Fashion Week one of the shows I attended was Oxford Fashion Studio’s Show I for SS2020. It was a surprisingly brisk day for early September and show was held at Pier 59 Studios. The show featured eight rising designers. The show was filled to capacity and you could sense the excitement.

And today we have the last and third set of shows presenting at the Oxford Studio Fashion Studio shows for Spring/Summer 2019. I enjoyed attending the shows and being able to see the work of up and coming designers. It is a showcase where inclusion is the heart of the events. From transgender, to plus-size to art inspired pieces and showcasing designers from around the globe the shows presented were anything but vanilla.
