RACHEL POLLACK FALL 2018

Today I am sharing with you the last set of shows to walk at the Oxford Shows. The first up is Rachel Pollack. Held at Studio 450 with it’s sweeping views of the New York City Skyline after dark was the perfect backdrop for this lineup.

With a mix of day and evening wear, the collection had subtle sex appeal with it’s plunging necklines and slinky silhouettes tempered by exquisite embroidery, generous billowing sleeves and longer hemlines.

With a base palette of black, accented with shades of pink from a dusty rose to a hot magenta and the occasional olive green and a shimmering white textile the overall effect further underscored the delicate balance of demure sensuality.

  2. I love all of these! Unlike a lot of outfits at the shows, I think these outfits I could actually imagine myself wearing outside, and looking flawless wearing. Adore them all, especially the ones with more muted colours.

  3. Love this collection – the silver wrap shirt? Yes! And those dresses make me long for spring. Thanks for sharing!

  4. That first top with the floral embroidery detail and hot pink billowing sleeves is everything!

  5. The pink sleeves are so cute though! Love the long statement and how they contrast the rest of the clothing piece. Love the low back too! Xx

  6. Hey Allie, hope you’re having a nice week and thanks for your feedback in the last post, your opinion left me thinking about many things! SO THANK YOU !

I’ve been a little absent this week but I didn’t lose track of the Fashion Week madness and I love to see all your content dedicated to this big event. And I like your blog because I can always find new talents and get inspired from talented people around the globe.

Could not imagine how awesome it is (and difficult) to cross all New York City to go from one show to another, but using different venues is also interesting. Loved how Rachel Pollack reinterpreted pledges and metallics, both things are right now a trend but this designer shows us that the combinations and reinterpretations are endless!

  7. I’m in love with theses flowers and embroideries details !

  8. The embroidery, the shimmering fabrics that have a crinkly appearance, the ornamentation, the mix of covered wrists, and the deep V-neck styling are eye-catching – and I love hot magenta!

  9. I love the show. What a great collection!

  16. I really like the embroidery trimming details on these designs. It reminds me of some denim trimming that I had in the 90s. Very cool collection, sort of a modern boho chic appeal.
    Happy weekend. x
