Once again the Stevenson University collective is showing at the Nolcha Shows. A showcase of nine emerging apparel design students who are close to graduating. With a specified theme usually assigned this showcase was different allowing the students to design garments which best fit their aesthetic and passion. At the end of the show, all the students walked the runway with their model and it was truly inspiring to see so much talent and enthusiasm.

What a great opportunity for the students to showcase their fabulous designs! It sure is inspiring to see such fresh talent. I hope you’ve had a great week so far, Allie! XXX
It is inspiring, not the easiest of career paths to follow.
What a cool collection- I love that olive green sheer number! So dreamy!

Thanks for the interesting post! Have a nice day)
Your welcome and it was so much fun to attend
Such a beautiful collection. The models are gorgeous too.
I know they are, aren’ they?
This does sound like a fabulous show to attend. I love the way they chose to end the runway show with both the model and the designer. A lot of these looks are very fashion forward and avant-garde. I do love the multi tiered tulle dress that is in pink and black !
Beautifully captured!

Love the mix of textures. The fringe, brocade and lace are pretty. The brocade shorts remind me of Dolce and Gabbana.

It’s always inspiring to see what students get inspired by–what an interesting and eclectic collection of designs. I remember doing student shows in design school. The play with texture and colour stands out to me. 🙂
FASHION TALES
I like when young fashion designers get an opportunity to show their work, we have a lot of talent to discover and it is great if they have a platform like NYFW!
I’m loving these ultra-feminine designs. I especially love the ruffles, sheers, lingerie looks, and the embroidered dress in the 17th through 21st photos!
What a gorgeous collection. They’re stunning! My fave would be that laced sleeved dress and the black ruffled dress.
