SHEIN LACE PINK TOP AND THE START OF SUMMER IN THE HAMPTONS

Summer has officially started! And last Thursday my friend Laurie and I got a jump start on summer and we headed out to the Hamptons. We had Laurie’s two dogs with us and everywhere we went people stopped to pet or admire Odie and Merlin. The Hamptons is an uber dog friendly place and it is also quite welcoming. Everyone was so nice and in a good mood. I can see why this is such an in-demand getaway for cranky Manhattanites.

The day started out warm and sunny so I reached for this lighter then air lace capped sleeve top from Shein. My regular followers have probably seen the one shoulder ruffle top and the palm leaf maxi dress looks I wore in this post and this post. Both of which are also from Shein.

It was nice to be out and about after spending so much time in doors in front of a computer. I did not get to Florida this year so it was much needed, truly…

I paired it with these wedgie straight cut jeans from Levis. I got these in Soho when I took my French nephew shopping who was visiting from Paris. I heard about them on Meghan Elby’s You Tube channel and I knew I had to have them. The Gucci inspired belt is from Free People and much less expensive.

The bag which goes perfectly with the top is from Rebecca Minkoff and the Pineapple denim mules which I picked up last summer are from Zara. The sunnies I believe are H&M.

We had great time out east and I did not return home until after ten in the evening. It was nice to be out and about after spending so much time in doors in front of a computer. I did not get to Florida this year so it was much needed. Hamptons season officially started on Friday so it was nice to beat the crowds. What is your go to getaway in the sizzling months of summer?
