And finally the shows closed with a solo showing by Di Yusupoff, the perfect ending to another successful Fashion Week for Nolcha, and another wonderful opportunity to connect with emerging designers. And I am waiting with baited breath for the the next Fashion Week in six months as I headed out into the snowy night, iPhone in hand and stepped in to my waiting Uber car as I relished everything I had seen.
DI YUSUPOFF

Having one foot in the old world and one firmly planted in Brooklyn, New York Sabina Yusupova the founder of Di Yusupoff brings a modern romance to her pieces. Born in Eastern Europe and finding her way to America she knows first hand the idea of reinvention. And her garments also feel as though they have been reinvented—having a sense of the new and contemporary while embodying more traditional old world charm and elegance. From daywear to formal wear the lineup for Fall 2016 walks this line and offers up an impressive collection of true grace with wearable pieces that flatter and inspire. Some stand outs for me are the black feather dress, the tapestry bell sleeved over coat and the irredsent gold evening gown. And I am not the only one inspired to step out in one of Sabina’s pieces, actress Olivia Culpo attended the shows wearing a sheer black Di Yusupoff original, and it suits her perfectly.

February 26, 2016The pictures are fantastic! The first dress and two coats and one that is kind of a cape, though with detached sleeves, they speak loads to me! I love red, but this time I pick as my favorite, the first dress!

February 26, 2016Shows like this are great since you get to see more than one designer’s work and also discover the best emerging fashion talent as well. The dresses in this collection are just dreamy.

February 26, 2016This is a stand out collection! I love to see talented emerging designers! I adore the heavenly cornflower blue gown in different shades of embroidery, and I appreciate, too, that these looks are so wearable! Mad genius on display and I am so glad you braved the weather to capture and share these! Love the red gown – divine- and artful jodhpurs!
