Nasty Gal Spring 2017 for lookbook Friday

Hands up, who is watching Girl Boss on Netflix? I just started watching this, after months of relentless and exhaustingly frightening and depressing news stories I needed a break. And this sun filled romp through the west coast late nineties truly is a much breath of fresh air. Not perhaps the most realistic approach, but with its’s sunny cinema photography, throw back sound track and stellar performance from Britt Robertson it is quite addicting.

But who said we had to be “appropriate” all the time? I think we all may have a bit of a rebel in our souls

So in honor of my latest Netflix crush we are looking at Nasty Gals Spring 2017 line up. Yep we all know Nasty Gal is not everyone’s cup of tea. And much like it’s founder it is very in your face and some may say a bit crass. But who said we had to be “appropriate” all the time? I think we all may have a bit of a rebel in our souls. But seriously though, all these pieces worn together may be a bit much for you, but who says you have to wear them together?

And my favorite—the gold satin kimono mini dress with faux fur sleeves would look super chic over a pair of black trousers

The burgundy floral bomber is quite the show piece and would look great with a pair of high waisted boyfriend jeans, a simple white tee and pumps. And my favorite—the gold satin kimono mini dress with faux fur sleeves would look super chic over a pair of black trousers and open backed ala Gucci slip on loafers. Right? And yes the Daisy Duke halter top may be a pass for me, but I would certainly say yes to the tone-tone button up jeans, patchwork skirt and studded vest. What say you?
