A little arrogance can be a good thing. Just enough to tell the world I have certain something, and in the case of Marni’s new line up for fall 2017 this means a decadent surrender to the femme fatale of luxury and grace. With a classic embracement of structure and draping we see gorgeous coats, capes and jackets in neautral tones of navy, black, taupe and gray with the occasional splash of red layered over an unexpected array of color studded patterns in a pleathora of textures and finishes.

Flannel, checked, animal prints and florals all have a moment in this kinetic collection. You will also find luxurious embroidered textiles, art infused prints and fur trimmed details. Hemlines are long, and fits are boxy with a distinct masculine edge. Impetuous celebrations of the rebellious spirit show up in gold-tipped “combat” boots and circuits striped tights in red and black.
