A Banana Republic Ruffle Tee and a day in north port new york

The weather has been unsettled this summer with lots of rain and of course the usual humidity. This weekend was not too bad though and my friend Laurie and I headed to the quaint sea side town of North Port. After working all week in the city it is nice to get away. We strolled the picturesque streets, and shopped in the charming boutiques—I picked up trinkets for step-family in Paris, and afterwards we had lunch at an oyster bar. And when we spied this lovely miniature park we knew we had to shoot here. Enchanting isn’t it?

I picked up this fun striped ruffled sleeve tee at Banana Republic. It was on sale and I paid a whopping $16.99 for this super comfortable tee. The ruffle detail is a simple way to add interest to a basic tee—so cute. I paired it with these girlfriend cut jeans from Gap and the mules are from Zara. You will not believe how much I paid for them. Are you sitting down? Would you believe me when I say $10.00?
