Yes,once again J Crew has knocked it out of the park. With a sophisticated, dare I say pop art approach with it’s solid swatches of primary colored garments paired with floral prints, dusty pastels, jewel-toned textiles, bold patterns, multi-hued feathers and sumptuious fabrics this collection feels simultaneously regal and fresh. The straight cut, knee-grazing skirts with their side waist bows worn demurely with draping turtlenecks stand lady-like along side the flirty leather fringe numbers, the feathered minis, and the high waisted embroidered versions. Feminine man tailored coats are slung over extra-long pencil skirts and button down shirt dresses. Generously cut wide-legged pants take the anti-skinny jean revolution to the next level, and business trousers are found in a baby pink and paired with an over-sized canary yellow scarf in a defiant declaration of proper fashion. A palette of pink, gold, yellow, camel and heather gray is broken up with cool blues, emerald greens, tangy oranges and the occasional shock of spring toned colors. Casual sweaters are worn with dressy bottoms, dropped waist tops are worn with mini skirts, cropped tops are worn with floor length skirts—it seems we have fall down the rabbit hole in a good way

I love J Crew’s fashion for fall/winter! Unfortunately, it doesn’t get that cold here in SoCal, but I would still love to get those shoes, and possibly a skirt or two from this collection!

I have seen a few J Crew collections over the years, I’m a fan of some and others not too much however, I must say this collection is gorgeous. I like that it’s not too feminine, there’s a touch of masculinity in it and yes, definitely very sophisticated.
The real stars are the shoes, how gorgeous are they? (insert heart eyes emoji)
