Today I am sharing with you Fendi’s SS220 show in Milan. Fendi much like Gucci are the masters of what I like to call quirky chic. Not quite in the realm of the avant-garde yet certainly not classical in any traditional sense the brand embraces this element of individuality with distinctly out of the box apparel that never loses touch with it’s feminine core. A bit more conventionally pretty and approachable then Gucci, Fendi’s romantic charm balances out the edgier components the brand is known for.

The collection for Spring Summer 2020 is a spritely mix of flirty feminine appeal, folksy charm, nineties minimalism with lots of disco bling. From fringe laced, to the super trendy crochet bags, to the infamous baguette to over-sized totes how can one not want a Fendi under their arm. Accessories also take center stage with playful vibrant patent leather and velvet in a plethora of block-heeled shoes. And one could not miss the swingy uber long liquid gold seventies era necklaces. Add lumber jack checks, florals, iridescent gold lame like frocks, logo emblazoned tights and layers of crocheted knitwear and plenty of sheer flowing textiles and you have a splendid expression of effervescent femininity.
