The holidays are over and it is back to the day to day. Fashion Week is only a month away and it is crazy how quickly it comes on the heels of the holiday season. During the rush of the season I did a quick shoot on one of the coldest days of year thus far, though it has not been particularly cold so far this winter. Lets hope the polar vortex does not rear it’s ugly head the week of Fashion Week. Fingers crossed.
The day this was shot I was visiting a cute town to do some last minute Christmas shopping. As it was so cold I opted for some over the knee boots, tights and a sweater. I then threw on this thrifted coat that I picked for $24.00 Not bad a price and it is quite warm. The bag you have seen before on the blog is from Micheal Kors. The boots are from Zara and the skirt is from H&M both are not new and I shopped my closet. The sweater is also not new and is from Theory and the sunnies were borrowed from my friend. The gloves which I have been wearing all winter are also not new. Neither is the scarf which I picked up at local shop a number of years ago. So again the entire look is pre-loved or I shopped my closet. Have you picked up anything second hand this season? And if you do shop second hand, what is your favorite pre-loved item?

Since working from home I haven’t been back as often, but I do occasionally shop second hand on The RealReal and eBay!

There is something really special to me about a thrifted coat.
