In todays Lookbook Friday we are looking at up and coming brand Cheng. I am sharing the SSS2017 collection with you as I also wanted to share a behind the scenes video. I love watching what goes on behind a shoot. When I was in design school I use to watch ANTM for this exact reason. I enjoyed seeing the shoots in action and then getting to see the finale images and how dramatic they would turn out. Some may think standing around set can be boring, personally though I have never found it boring.
with it’s fabulous youth quake edge and dramatic flourishes it should be no surprise it is a favorite of Lady Ga Ga
But yes, seeing a bunch people standing around and a model jumping about on big piece of paper may not appear to be the most thrilling of endeavors, but when you see the still photographs and the drama that is captured in the imagery it is all worth it. And on a side note, I am about 99.9% sure I have been in this studio. When I watched the video I did a double take and had to rewind and look closer. But I am fairly certain I have been in this exact studio.
Hope you enjoy this lookbook with it’s fabulous youth quake edge and dramatic flourishes it should be no surprise it is a favorite of Lady Ga Ga.

I used to work in the photography industry and shoots are never as glamorous as they appear to be like that one time I had to help the stylist because her assistant got sick and I gave the male model an impromptu leg waxing while trying to hem his pants with tape. Thankfully he was super nice about it and we were able to laugh about it years later. I could totally see Gaga in some of these looks!
Love the balance between statement and wearability! So many lovely pieces with a fun twist. Happy weekend love! Xx

I can see why this brand is a Lady Gaga favourite! Some of the pieces are really out there, but others look so wearable! That bronze sequin outfit with the tassels and the flares is just incredible, although I can’t imagine it would work anywhere other than a red carpet, haha! 🙂
Hope you are having a good weekend 🙂 Have you done any sale shopping? I made the most of some time off earlier this week and shopped at a few stores but I haven’t bought anything in the sales yet.
