NYFW FALL 2020 Street Style #6

By Posted on 0 min read 3838 views

Here is the next installment or part six of my NYFW Fall 2020 street style series. The fashionista in the second photo made her own dress that you see here. So cool right? Lots of style and diversity on the streets of New York for NYFW, I love how everyone expresses their own individual style. And I end the post with a series of photos of a stunning off duty model in a can’t be missed faux fur bomber. I mean was her face made for the camera or what? There is still more to come if you can believe that.

My First Day Out of Quarantine

Hands up who left home and got out of quarantine? I did for the first time last week. Though technically the first time was June 14th when I went to a BLM protest. On this day I met with a friend we spent the day at local park, got tacos and then headed to the docks to end the day and cool off. I hope you enjoying following me on my first day out. And here’s to a safe and happy summer…

An Everyday Makeup Look With Colourpop

Happy July everyone, can’t believe it, but we are already almost a week in of the month of July. I have not yet been to the beach so it seems odd to me that we almost halfway through summer. I generally do not wear a lot of makeup in the summer and I generally stick to neutrals but I have been wanting to get out of my comfort zone and try something different. So to that end I purchased the Colourpop’s Blush palette, which is my first Colourpop item that I bought along with one of their Just a Tint lippies.

BLM Protest Long Island New York Part Two

By Posted on 1 min read 4742 views

Here is part two of my photo series from the Black Lives Matter protest I attended on Sunday June 14th. As I explained in my last post I decided to post these photos in black and white. In some ways I find black and white photos to be more expressive when it comes to profound news events like this. With black and white photography you are less distracted by color and advertising. The simplicity of black and white helps to reinforce and focus in on the subject matter, distilling it down to shapes and forms, to lightness and darkness, and the under lying emotion in the moment. I hope I was able to capture that in these images.

#BLM Protest Long Island New York Part One

On Sunday June 14th I went to a Black Lives Matter protest on Long Island New York. I had wanted to go to the protests in New York and Brooklyn but was worried about Covid 19 as I live with high risk people. When I learned there would be protests on Long Island I figured it would safer as there would be more room for social distancing and the crowds would not be as large. I did my best but I don’t know how successful I was at social distancing, but I kept my mask on and did the best I could.

The weather has warmed up and not sure what to expect this summer. I know it won’t be wholly normal. But I do know I will still be sharing my street style snaps from last Fashion Week here in New York. Some of these photos were shot outside Michael Kors and others we taken outside Spring Studios. So many inspiring fashionistas and wonderful street style.

Here is part four in my NYFW Fall 2020 street style series. Most of this was also shot outside the Michael Kors show. So much fun style and inspiration to be had. I had a chance to shoot a lot of people I admire in the fashion industry. In the last post in this series I was able to snap Tamara Kalanic a favorite influencer of mine, and in my first post and my NYFW Fall 2020 vlog I captured one of my idols Grace Coddington. In this post I snapped world famous model Binx Watson. How cool is that?

Happy Monday everyone. Today I am sharing with you the dresses I currently have in my closet. From maxis, to ruffles to no wrinkle wonders I will share with you the dresses I wear, and how I wore them in the past. I have to say creating this video and looking back at happier and more robust times it made me a bit sad.
