Summer is just about wrapped up, and I did not get out as much as I usually do, and we all know why. I did however manage to get in a photo shoot or two, and today I am sharing with you two different ways to style a striped tube top. I first saw this shirt on the blog Not Jess Fashion. I Loved how Jess styled hers, and I just knew I had to get it. I actually picked this up last year and even wore it to Fashion Week last fall. I have also not been shopping as much either. So to that end I shopped my closet, and decided to style this fun top two different ways; one look being more sporty, and the other look being a bit more dressed up. For the sporty look I wore dad sneakers and a fun belt bag from Converse, and for the night-time look I swapped out the sneakers for these lace up heels from Sam Edelman. I traded the athletic belt bag for a disco style crossbody from Phil Liam, and I added this fun sequined bomber from Les Benjamins which I got in Paris last fall. So, what do you think? We still have a few summer weekends here, hope you get the best of these sunny days in your area! I love that you bring back the shiny bomber jacket and used it in a total different way this time! I remember that FW post, one of my favorites by the way!
I liked that striped top, the ideal piece for summer but also for other seasons if you style it with the right pieces! Those shoes by Sam Edermalm are also really cool, I checked his designs and he has truly gems!

I love both the sporty and the dressy version. Perhaps I like the dressy version a bit more because it is unexpected. The contrast between the casual vibe of the striped top and the more dressier items is fantastic.
Love these fun colors! Adding the cardigan was a super cute way to style the look too. I miss shopping for items to wear out and about. We have just been staying home, so same as you..no need to really shop these days..

I prefer the more dress up look !! As I will never be able to wear high heels again due to the broken foot and I have to wear sneakers every day, my preference goes to high heels !!
