A Few Snaps of WIW to NYFW

Here a few snaps of what I wore to NYFW. I really was not planning on attending. With the majority of it being digital I did not think there would be attendees to shoot or shows to attend. But there were some shows with an audience–social distanced of course and mandatory masks. Happily, I was invited to the Street Fashion Week show and Flying Solo’s Fitting Day Event as well as the Flying Solo show’s which were held on a rooftop which many of you may have seen. As I was not planning on attending I did not really plan out any looks. Everything here is from my closet and has appeared on the blog before. The only thing “new” was the the yellow ruffle top which I got pre-loved and was not in fact a top. It was a dress that was too body con for my tastes so I cut it in to a top! I think I paid about $16 for it. I just love the color and the one shoulder ruffle which I am a big fan of, so fun right? Let’s hope next fall things will be back to normal…

  3. I love the rainbow patterned mask and bag motif in the first photo.
    Greetings of friendship.

  4. So chic! I love your mask, it’s such a beautiful statement. Mine is just plain black, definitely would love to make it more interesting! Love yours with the bag and the bomber jacket, such a fun mix of colors! Xx

  5. It’s hard to believe how much life has changed since earlier this year… Your floral mask is pretty though 🙂

  6. You look so chic in these looks, Allie! The lace dress mixed with that colorful jacket is such a fun combination. The yellow top you cut is a great pop of color. Sometimes, I think you should be walking the runways instead of snapping shots! You have such an eye for fashion. I hope we are back to normal next year too. Here in my area, there aren’t as many restrictions, so it is beginning to feel like it’s a little back to normal. 🙂

  7. Both of the outfits you styled and wore to New York Fashion Week looked extremely well styled aesthetically and artistically – absolutely gorgeous – love! xx 😀
I love the bright yellow colour of and feminine statement ruffles on your D.I.Y. tailored dress to blouse and its contrast with the stressed blue denim jeans. Even your floral mask looks very pretty and fashionable.
I also am in love with the looks of the second OOTD.
The crocheted black lace dress and that colourful eye-catching quilted jacket are both fabulous, and I really love the rainbow strap very much.
Your hair looked beautiful too. I’m so glad you were in front of the camera for these photos!
    I love them.

  39. Ooooh Allie, you rock!

Despite the situation, I love that you added a lot of color and textures to the situation! All the outfits are 100% New York Fashion Week, I love that you added a bit of drama with the volumes of the garments and the combinations of textures…. and obviously the strap of the bag and the face masks were really good accessories.

At least we have the opportunity to spice our outfits a little bit with the face masks!

I hope that next year you can wear more outfits and of course, shoot more looks!
