Shop Style Social House Event for NYFW 2016

This Fashion Week was cold and snowy and made getting around a bit challenging but the frustrations were off set a bit by attending Pop Sugar‘s Shop Style Social House event. This was a great way to kick off my frenzy of a weekend and I can’t wait to attend the next one. It was a bloggers paradise: with hair and makeup stations, a fun gif generating photo booth, free flowing champagne, a free bag give away from Gigi handbags that was even personalized with your own initials, and lots of clothes and shoes to choose from and borrow for NYFW. Seriously how cool is that? I borrowed a long, sleeveless Neiman Marcus suede wrap like dress in a carmel color which I a paired with a dusty pink handwoven satchel from Welden Bags. I wore this to the Nolcha Shows on Monday—you will have to stay tuned for a post on that, I got a ton of compliments and felt oh so chic, which is not the easiest thing to pull of when it is raining and snowing with gale force winds and temperatures hovering only slightly above there freezing mark. All us fashionista’s deserve a pat on the back for making it through the horrendous weather, l mean what did they do before Uber? I headed to the Shop Style event with jewelry designer Anita of Siamm Piatra and we ran in to Natalia of Style Tomes and Andrea of Pretty Proper Quaint. A great time was had by all, even if briefly before we all scurried off to the next event. But that is the life of harried blogger—oh poor poor us.
