Fashion Week is in full swing here in New York. And I am quite busy this week running to shows and shooting street style. I am getting a glimpse of what is coming for fall and the trends that we will be wearing this time next year. And it seems the statement sleeve and ruched eighties dress is not going anywhere any time soon. Redemptions’s pre-fall collection does indeed have a decidedly eights vibe to it along with a can’t be missed rock-n-roll edge. Moto jackets, metallic skinny jeans and accompanying low slung belts, big shouldered mini dresses and plenty of black define this lineup with it’s youthful vigor and after dark appeal.
Such a fun collection – are you able to go to shows and shoot now or is this an old post? I am hoping you are staying safe whatever you are up too 🙂

Did you mean to post this on my NYFW post??? These photos are from Redemptions professional look book, a shoot that was held indoors in a studio which is pretty obvious, and I am guessing about 8 months ago, I did not shoot this. I am not that good. The photos on my NYFW post are from February this past NYFW. NYFW is only held twice a year in February and September not in April. All the photos are from the first week of February 2020 when NYFW was held. NYC and NY state are still in lockdown. No one is holding fashion shows or any other events here in NYC. Other states my be opening up but NY State is not at this time. In the NYFW post I clearly stated this “looking back on happier times” please be careful to read the post in full when commenting and to comment on the correct post. I took over 2k photos so I will be posting them for quite some time.
