The weather finally turned nice and of course I had to get out and enjoy the spectacular weather. And many of my regular readers know one of my favorite things to do is shop in Soho. I use to work in this wonderful neighborhood but changed jobs in December and I seriously miss it. So any chance I get I head to Soho for day of shopping and brunching. And for anyone traveling to New York this summer if you are a fashionista like myself you just can’t miss visiting this shopping mecca.
And Soho now has a new retailer to add to it’s illustrious list of fabulous go to places to shop. Nautica recently opened a space at 101 Prince Street and I was lucky enough to have the pleasure to visit the new store to check out the new space and the new line for summer. Nautica known for it’s nautical inspired sportswear and preppy chic aesthetic creates wearable clothes that are not too fussy, but are still sophisticated and on trend. Carrying approachable clothes for both men and women this is one shop where your significant other will not want to run for the nearest sports bar.
They have an innovative in-store design element, called “The Style Bar”, it offers a selection of the season’s key pieces in a curated presentation where shoppers can explore new styles and fulfill one’s curiosity. Digital tablets are available and equipped with editorial look books so shoppers can browse head-to-toe styled looks for inspiration. So cool right? Other services include custom tailoring and same day home delivery in Manhattan for all online and in-store purchases. Nautica also plans to partner with local SoHo businesses in various capacities to show support for the community and its neighbors and brands.
Be it pair of fun printed shorts for your guy or a fun mesh tee for you, you will find it all at the new space.
I love the unisex element at the store, you and your main squeeze could easily shop here together and step out looking like the fabulous fashion forward duo that you are. Be it pair of fun printed shorts for your guy or a fun mesh tee for you, you will find it all at the new space. And if you don’t live in New York and are’t planning a trip here this summer you can head to Nautica.com. And be sure to check out their Inside Nautica page where you can discover the Nautica lifestyle and learn more about what this conscientious company is about, and their work with Charity Water.

May 30, 2016I’ve actually walked by this shop a few times since it opened but I’ve never gone in because the I’m not a fan of their preppy style so thanks for the peek inside.

I rarely get to Soho, and am also tempted to go when you write one of these excellent posts!

May 30, 2016Love the idea of the style bar! I hope more stores adapt the concept of featured inspiration for shoppers. It’s be cool if they pulled IG inspo from influencers on the spot for people to browse too.
