Fendi Pre-Fall 2016 for Lookbook Friday

We all remember a few season’s ago the whole inner-wear as outerwear trend, wearing bras as tops and of course the on going pajamas as street-wear trend. Well Fendi has take this prevalence for lounge apparel to another level with the pre-fall 2016 collection. A boudoir element is obvious with bathrobe-inspired coats and platform shoes that suspiciously look like they could do double duty as very chic slippers. The longer relax fit coats topping an array of party frock mini dresses with youthful way above the knee hemlines and slim fit trousers with cropped in bell bottoms give the lineup an edgy modern feel. The palette a vibrant offering of saturated pastels, rich jewel tones and rustic fall colors anchored by classic black is at once rich and restrained. An octagonal diamond pattern pops up through out the collection and serves as a geometrical contrast to the more feminine florals and quilted fabrics.
