CHOCHENG @NYFW SS2020

I am happy to share with you Chocheng‘s collection for Spring/Summer 2020. While it’s early sixties retro feel was refreshingly minimalist, it was also simultaneously sumptuous. The pieces with their high end fabrics that are produced in Europe and hand sewn in London have the feel of a throwback garment with it’s attention to detail and meticulous fit. The palette of white, pale pink, coral, red, creamy yellow and black had a sense of playful sophistication. Much like the farm-to-city character Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the lineup feels sophisticated yet simple and unassuming.

Your photographs of the Chocheng SS2020 designs being worn on the runway are fabulous!
I’m especially loving the looks of the dresses with the black on white and white on beige diagonal grid prints.

This collection takes me to a day in the countryside with fresh air and with fruits in the basket… Even tho is very conceptual, I think is very wearable for the daily life 🙂

Good luck in your PFW adventure!

Oh these are so stunning. I particularly loved the black and white striped dresses, would love wearing that. Gorgeous pictures. Thanks so much for the comment lovely. Sadly, I have had abuse from family as well, I know how that goes, it can really make it hard to understand as family isn’t meant to be that way. I hope you are ok now!!!

Oh wow! These are hand-sewn!!! That’s so awesome! I love the pieces, but my fave are the ones with the thick vertical stripes 🙂 Very Holly Golightly indeed. Thanks for sharing this collection, Allie. Have never heard of this brand before…I’m so out of it!
