Today we are looking at Moncler’s Spring Summer lineup for 2018. Though this collection has more of a resort feel to it with it’s mixed bag of warm weather looks and cool weather pieces. It fully embraces the leisure wear trend so prominent in the fashion industry right now. Added to this are nautical inspired garments with a traditional red, white, and blue palette in classic cuts, such as the stripped pull over and white wide leg trousers.

It’s Memorial Day Weekend and the start of summer. We can now look forward to months of easy breezy dressing and light feminine frocks. And no one does this better then Miu Miu. Lace, eyelet, and florals dominate in a sea of pastel perfections. Hemlines walk a balancing act between ankle skimming and below the knee to the occasional mini. Though even when fully covered there is plenty of skin peaking through.

For those of you that watched my Fashion Week coverage, will know I was lucky enough to attend the book launch event for Maria Hatzistefanis’s new book “Overnight Success”. It was a great night with host Alexa Chung interviewing Maria on how she achieved such dizzying heights of success overnight. Well the title of the book is tongue in cheek as Maria Hatzistefanis’s company Rodial was not an overnight success but took years of trail and error and a lot of dedication and hard work.
