Alexander McQueen Fall 2019 For Lookbook Friday

Today I am sharing with you the Alexander McQueen collection for Fall 2019. If you look closely you will see on the right side about the fifth person down…OK just kidding I was not at this show. I have been a fan of Alexander McQueen for quite a while now. I am ex pun-rock goth so I still have a soft spot in my hear for this aesthetic. The lineup for fall stays true to this aesthetic but is more refined and minimalist then seasons past. Androgynous. edgy, and defiant, this lineup does not apologize. I have my eye on the red tuxedo jacket, anything here strike your fancy? I hope you enjoy and rest assured fall will be here before you know it!

Edgy and gorgeous as expected. I’m so glad I got to see the Savage Beast retrospective at The Met years ago. It gave me a real appreciation for his work. It still makes me sad that we lost Alexander McQueen at such a young age. Sarah Burton has done an excellent job at keeping his legacy alive.

Thank you for sharing another awesome vid, Allie! I loved Alexander McQueen. At one point, I was so obsessed with him and Isabella Blow. This collection is so wearable IMO and remain true to his spirit. I love the white dresses/skirts paired with the black jackets, and there’s one royal blue dress in there that is just…I can’t even. I’ve always thought that if I become famous, all I would wear is McQueen, Marant and Alexander Wang:D

Love McQueen! Love how punk rock can be so feminine and beautiful at once.

It looks like a stunning collection indeed. The goth accessories and make up were simply perfect for the clothes…and the slick back hair looks fab…I love the ‘ kick ass’ vibe I was getting from the models, it fitted the whole collection, but especially the power suits, perfectly. I also spotted one delicate dress with rose tones that I loved and I enjoyed the mix of styles with the rock accessories.

Alexander McQueen did a great job with Fall’s lineup! I like the elegance of these outfits, with it looking super stylish. If I had a closet full of these outfits, I wouldn’t mind rocking them in my corporate job, aha. Thanks for sharing!

I liked the collection even though I usually do not like seeing too many blacks and other darks! But enjoyed seeing a poppy pink dress on the runway! +++

This whole collection is stunning! Even though it’s a bit more minimal compared to past seasons, you can really see the attention to detail. I love the first two suits/coats with the longer ruffle side and that red and black jacket.

Great collection. Everything looked very well tailored and fell in line with the whole pun rock theme so I can appreciate that. I have to mention though that the statement jewellery on the models were so stunning… talk about some bling! – http://www.jamilakyari.com
