Today I am going to be discussing Stephanie Lange, a content creator who calls out and shames influencers and celebrities. I initially liked Stephanie’s videos which were about unattainable beauty standards, and the hidden dangers of beauty treatments–or at least that was the portion of her content that was suggested to me. But this changed, or the algorithm caught up with her content. I discovered there are aspects of her content that do not sit well with me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion so I am sharing mine. Join me for a discussion and let me know what you think.

Interesting
I enjoy your commentaries because I learn about things outside my own little bubble. I was not aware that people were turning on influencers. I agree that Stephanie is doing it for clickbait. It sounds like she realized she could get more views by being a SJW in today’s social climate.
Manchmal entdecke ich bei den Influencer wirklich richtig gute Produkte, die mir sonst wahrscheinlich im Regal gar nicht aufgefallen wären. Lg Romy
I don’t really know Stephanie Lange, but I get where you’re coming from. The beauty standards content seemed useful at first, but if she’s just calling people out now, I can see how that’d feel off.
Happy Monday, Allie!
I’ve never heard of her, I’ll have to check out what she’s created.
I can’t wait to travel to Great Britain, it will be a nice journey. Yes this bags are pretty good.
Very interesting post, I have to watch this video in the evening. It sounds pretty
enlightend.
wow – such a great topic . It’s so good we have to talk about unattainable beauty standards, and the hidden dangers of beauty treatments – cause not every treatment is exactly treatment proper for us. Great video dear xx
very beautiful video, thank you, have a nice new week:)
I may dislike or not agree with certain creators or influencers, but I don’t feel a need to comment or call them out. Everyone can find flaws in another human being. Love you friend.

Hello, Allie! I started watching your video a few days ago but haven’t managed to watch the whole thing yet.
I think you started a great discussion. Since you posted about this topic, I thought about it and I think you are on to something. It is not just one YouTuber vs an influencer, it’s bigger than that.
Recently, I noticed there are many channels on YouTube that specifically only trash and criticise influences, calling them creeps and all sorts of derogatory names like they are the main manage to society.
While many of these influencers being called out are not the kind I would ever follow, they are still human beings and this kind of persecution seems a bit overblown.
There is a rise in hate channels. The algorithms like hate. Rage content is also on the risem Every influencer risks being cancelled by these channels now. Like celebrities, they are treated as fair game.
At the end of the day, if you don’t like an influencer, don’t follow them. We don’t need social media cannibalism.
Yes so true the algorithm rewards this thats why they do it. And that was whole point. Stephanie is not in any way morally superior in what she is doing shaming influencers for clicks.
Hmm this is so interesting. I had never heard of Stephanie Lange before. I agree that the whole thing is hypocritical. Even if she used to be an influencer and is trying to delete that from her past, she’s still making all these videos as part of her living. Uhh, influencer?? Just a different kind. Weird.
