In keeping with my spring is in the air theme this week on the blog, I am sharing with you a beautiful and light filled nursery that is filled with whimsical and spring infused pieces, like pussy willows, pink accent furnishings and lots of sparkly gold. Though this room works all year long, it breaths like a breath of spring air, and with the white walls that are sans of any permanent nursery rhyme decals this room will grow with blogger Lexi’s little girl. Even when she goes through her goth Marilyn Manson, Insane Clown Posse stage—ok, just kidding, I am sure Lexi just fell on the floor is she is reading this.

But keeping the walls a basic neutral color and more importantly keeping them free of any hard to remove decorative decals that are geared to very young children is a smart and sophisticated choice

But keeping the walls a basic neutral color and more importantly keeping them free of any hard to remove decorative decals that are geared to very young children is a smart and sophisticated choice. From the over-sized striped curtains, to the gold embossed floral dresser, to the leaf patterned hamper this nursery is a fresh and playful approach to the one room in the house that can be a design challenge.

And I just love the wardrobe rack, what a wonderful solution to a storage problem. Plus it keeps clothes with in arms reach instead of tucked away in drawer or dark closet. Just brilliant.

To see more from this nursery and to get the low down on the nine must haves for a baby nursery head to Lexi‘s blog GlitterInc.com, And the best she lists where you can purchase the pieces that are used in this nursery. Cool, huh.

  4. I wish I had a space to create such beautiful nursery when I had my boys but money was tight with my first boy and with the second, space was tight so we ended up with the crib in the corner of our room.

  5. Oh my goodness, so in love with the minimalistic look in this nursery!! I love the frames on the wall and the way she set up the bookshelf with notable pieces. So cute xx

  6. This nursery is lovely! I really love neutral walls – I recently had all walls painted off white, because I like colorful art and neutrals walls are better then! And that chest of drawers, how fantastic is that? I am a huge decoration fan, lovely post! Hope you have a very beautiful day!
