Nothing is new here, I shopped my closet for this whole look. A good a majority of if is from H&M the skirt, bag and shoes to be exact. The top is from Gap and the sunnies are from Mandee. I wore this on a super hot day, though with the breeze it did get a bit cooler along the water and the distressed denim jacket which my regular readers have seen before is from I Love H81 came in handy. The skirt is super light and keeps me cool which is one of the reasons I bought it. I don’t buy a lot of fast fashion but when I do it tends happen more often in the summer months.
On this day my friend and I headed to the water front to cool down and we had a great time shooting this. I almost fell in to the reeds a few times. It was quite windy and I loved the sound they made. I have too say this is one of the things I love about this area of the county; you can be close to a huge metropolis like NYC and then have quaint quite towns to escape to, and beautiful shorelines. The only downside is the high cost of living, hence my preloved and occasional fast fashion shopping. And another way to save money is to shop your closet. I even found a “new” top I have yet to wear! That will be coming up in future post, so stay tuned!
